Sant’Orsola Hospital in Bologna, patients’ wellness centre – Interview

We are proud to tell you about a project in which we took part because it really touched our hearts. It is the renovation project of the “L’acqua e le rose” wellness centre inside Pavilion 2 of Sant’Orsola Hospital in Bologna, where our wallpapers were chosen to decorate the rooms.

A wellness centre completely reserved for the patients of the Policlinico and a true oasis of serenity. In addition to the renovation of the showers and assisted bathing areas, an area has been dedicated to the barber and hairdresser service, which patients can use free of charge. This allows them to feel pampered as in a wellness centre and alleviate a sometimes very difficult and challenging course of medical treatment. The aim of the project is making the patients feel at home.

We interviewed Stefano Vezzani, Project Director of the Fondazione Policlinico Sant’Orsola, who has closely followed the development of the project and the work, and Dr. Pietro Calogero, Director of the Geriatrics Department at the Policlinico Sant’Orsola and a great supporter of the project from the beginning.
