Umberto Stagni

Umberto Stagni was born in Bologna in 1972. In 2005 he creates PastaVolante, his professional reality and pseudonym, thanks to which he develops traditional and digital illustration techniques, not only applied to personal projects, but also aimed at communication, editorial and music projects. He has always been fond of the world of pin-ups, as interpreters of a personal, ironic, light story. When his works become wallpapers they tell each time a different story. It can be an illustrated journey through the history of pin-ups, between feminine charm, iconography and decoration, or a journey between oriental inspirations at the same time symbolic, strong and playful.
